I’ve been given the opportunity to showcase my work, and I’m currently learning about framing.
Framing is the boundary between the artwork and the world.
A single frame and a few millimeters of mat paper can dramatically enhance a painting.
Choosing the right frame emphasizes contrast and unique qualities, making the depth of the artwork appear surprisingly profound.
There are many differences between works that catch the eye in a gallery and those gathering dust at home, and I feel that framing plays a major role in this.
Just a few days ago,
I was in a state of confusion, thinking,
“There are too many options—I don’t know what to choose,”
and “I don’t even know where to find an art supply store.”
But thanks to your kind support and guidance, I’m making steady progress.
作品を世に出す機会をいただき、額装を学んでいます。

適切な額を選ぶことで、コントラストや持ち味が強調され、作品の奥行きが驚くほど深く見えはじめます。
ギャラリーで目を引く作品と自宅で眠っている作品のちがいは多々ありますが、額装も大きな要因を占めていると感じています。
数日前まで
「種類が多すぎて何を選べばいいかわからない」
「画材店がどこにあるのか」
という状態でしたが、ありがたいご支援・ご指導のおかげさまをもちまして、ぐいぐいと前に進んでいます。
